Köhler's Medizinal-Pflanzen
Originally published in 4 volumes, from 1883-1914, according to the Eichler classification system, this is a single volume of text which consists of the original volumes 1 and 2 bound together and reorganized according to the Engler classification system. It is accompanied by 208 unbound prints organized in the same manner. The prints are color lithographs mostly drawn by Walther Müller and C.F. Schmidt, depicting a wide variety of subject matter including trees, ferns, lichen, and herbaceous plants. The text in the bound volume describes the characteristics and culture of the plants illustrated in the accompanying plates.
